Entry points into IT and specialized CompTIA tracks. The CompTIA hub lists the full family.

Vendor-neutral networking that covers similar early ground to CCNA without tying you to Cisco. We take it when the job or a WGU unit lists Network+ by name.
Server hardware, storage, and administration for people targeting sysadmin roles rather than pure networking or security.
Linux administration. We sit it for anyone moving toward servers, DevOps, or cloud, since so much of that stack runs on Linux.
Entry-level IT project management. We take it for people heading into coordination or leadership rather than a purely technical track.
Build on Security+ with specialized security tracks.
Security analytics, threat detection, and incident response. We sit CySA+ for people moving into SOC or defensive security after Security+.
Offensive security: pentesting, vulnerability assessment, ethical hacking. We take it when the next step is a red-team role.
Certifications for the Google Cloud Platform ecosystem.
Designing and managing solutions on GCP. We sit this for people who already have some cloud time, not complete beginners.
Deploying and managing applications on GCP. Positioning similar to AWS Cloud Practitioner, specific to Google's stack.
Securing workloads on Google Cloud. We take it when the mix is cybersecurity plus GCP, not AWS or Azure.
Certifications for IT operations and leadership roles.
IT service management. We sit ITIL when employers in larger orgs want the Foundation line for operations, service delivery, or leadership.
Competency-based sittings beyond cybersecurity.
Programming, software development, and CS fundamentals. We take the assessments so the term advances toward software roles rather than security or cloud.
Cloud infrastructure plus CS fundamentals. We sit the units and embedded cloud certs for people who already know they want cloud roles.
A sysadmin candidate might weigh Server+ against Linux+. A security candidate might be deciding Security+, CySA+, or PenTest+. A cloud candidate might be choosing AWS, Azure, or Google based on the employer list.
