Itcertguide (“we,” “us”) operates www.itcertguide.com. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the site, request a consultation, or message us, and how we use it.

We do not sell personal information.

This policy covers visitors to the website and people who contact us about having a specialist sit an IT certification exam or WGU assessment. The website itself does not require an account.

Certification or exam of interest, optional exam date, and any message you write
WhatsApp or live-chat messages, including whatever you choose to share there (for example exam platform, date, or account details needed to quote or deliver a sitting)

Collected automatically

Server logs typical of a hosted website (such as IP address, browser, and pages requested)
Analytics events, including page views and that a contact form was submitted (not the contents of the form)
Chat-widget data if you open Tawk.to
A theme preference stored in your browser if you switch light or dark mode

We do not collect payment card numbers on this website. Quotes and payment are handled after a consultation, off the form.

Reply to consultation requests and quote a sitting
Deliver the service you hire us for, including scheduling and the exam session
Operate, secure, and improve the website
Measure traffic and which pages are used
Comply with law or respond to a valid legal request

We use your contact details to follow up on a request you made. We do not run a marketing list from this site, and we will not sell your information.

4. Who we share it with

We share information only as needed to run the business:

Hosting and analytics — Vercel hosts the site and provides analytics and speed measurement
Email — Resend delivers the contact-form message to our inbox
Chat — Tawk.to if you use the on-site chat
Messaging — WhatsApp if you write us there
Specialists — the person assigned to your sitting, limited to what they need to do the work
Legal — if required by law, court order, or to protect our rights

Vendors such as certification bodies, Pearson VUE, or your school are not given your information by us unless you ask us to or the sitting itself requires it under your own account.

5. Retention

Consultation emails, chat transcripts, and WhatsApp messages are kept as long as needed to quote, deliver, and support the sitting, and for a reasonable period afterward for records and disputes. Analytics data follows those providers’ retention settings. You can ask us to delete what we hold; see section 7.

6. Cookies and similar technology

The site may use:

Strictly functional storage (for example remembering light or dark theme)
Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights
Tawk.to cookies if you load or use chat

You can block cookies in your browser. The site will still work; chat and analytics may not.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold, or to object to certain uses. To make a request, use the details in section 9. We may need to verify that the request is from you.
